- Preparation of technical proposals and cost calculations for Digital solutions according to Customer requirements and needs, with the support of Subject Matter Experts
- Support SCM department analyzing supplier proposals
- Collecting information from Sales on installed base/site from ABB Technical Account Managers.
- Analyze customer needs and competitor offering through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization.
- Perform lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.
- You are highly skilled about Process control system and automation (PLC, DCS, ESD) in power generation, water, and oil & refining industries
- You have at least 2 years of experience as proposal engineer or support sales engineer, in preparing Technical Specification and Pricing calculation. Possess an enhanced knowledge of Cyber Security Standards (e.g., IEC 62443) and Electrical Standards required by our major customer
- You are passionate about analyzing data and identifying digital solutions useful to answer to Customers’ needs, minimizing the costs and maximizing the revenues.
- It will be considered a plus the knowledge of ABB digital Portfolio (Cyber Security; Asset Performance Management; Sustainability Solutions; Continuous Emission Monitoring Solutions; Electrical Digital Solutions like SAPP, UVRx and SART)
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian. Knowledge of further languages (French, Spanish, German) will be a plus.
