Gallina Group, Italian and international leader in designing and manufacturing parts through extrusion technology and plastics processing for the Building and Construction sector and other industrial applications.In order to strengthen their organizational growth on technical activities, we're looking upon their commitment, a Technical Manager with strong experience on engineering and project management tasks.PosizioneThe chosen Candidate, placed on the company's Management Team, will report to Ownership and will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinate the Technical Team, which also includes Prototyping, Design and R&D areas, consisting of about 10 people in Italy and abroad;
Support the company in the technical development plan on product lines and projects currently central to the business, but also in technical and product innovation from a strategic perspective on a global level;
Identify short- and long - term technology needs and define/update a technology roadmap keeping in mind business needs and priorities;
Define “make or buy” choices, managing relationships with suppliers - Italian and foreign (Turkey, Greece and USA) - of the company's Industrial Operations, in collaboration with the Purchasing Department;
Ensure that projects are closed on schedule and within agreed budgets, producing quality and easily maintainable and scalable products;
Collaborate on product development with other business functions, particularly General Management and Industrial and Commercial Management;
Attendance and international trade shows and events, with recurring short trips abroad (20-25% of total time).
Requisiti
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Chemistry;
At least 7/8 years' experience in similar roles necessarily in the Plastics Processing industry;
Fluency in English is mandatory;
Leadership skills, goal achievement and technical and technological excellence.
