- Manage seasonal buying plans, including forecasting product demand, inventory levels, and stock rotation.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and customer demands in the MEINA region.
- Leverage historical sales data and insights to predict future demand and make informed buying decisions.
- Stay updated with fashion trends, luxury industry shifts, and consumer behavior to ensure the product assortment aligns with current and future needs.
- Work closely with the Planning & allocation teams to manage stock levels, product allocation, and replenishment.
- Work closely with the Compliance and Logistics departments to ensure the selected product meets the industry regulations to be shipped to destination.
- Ensure the timely delivery of products, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
- Analyze sell-through rates and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with retail management to ensure the product assortment aligns with regional store layouts and brand positioning.
- Work closely with visual merchandising teams to ensure product is displayed in a way that maximizes customer engagement and sales.
- Manage the buying budget, ensuring that all purchasing is done within financial constraints.
- Track spend and measure ROI on products, making adjustments as needed to stay on target.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Retail Buyer in the luxury fashion industry, preferably with experience with footwear and/or the MEINA region.
- Strong understanding of fashion retail dynamics, market trends, and consumer behavior preferably in the MEINA market.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using retail management software and buying tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and a customer-centric mindset, with the ability to curate collections that appeal to the regional market’s tastes.
- In-depth knowledge of the luxury fashion market, key trends, and high-end consumer preferences.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and results-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, Arabic speaking is a plus.
- Availability for international travel is required.
