- Act as a Finance Business Partner to the Commercial Team, supporting business in managing portfolio mix and evaluating all local initiatives with customers and consumers
- Joint Business Plans and Customer Thought Leadership support - Partner with Sales team to develop strong business plans that deliver against SCJ objectives of profitable growth, maximizing Net Pricing and ensuring conditionality
- Optimize Trade Spending and Customer Mix - Analyse trade spending plans with Sales team to maximize Net Pricing and reduce Gross to Net
- Support marketing and commercial functions during new product launches and support pricing strategy / promo equity allocation
- Play an active role in the monthly S&OP cycle via sound analysis and driving forecast accuracy
- Analyse and Optimize Promotional spend behind priorities and improved ROI, working with Customer Marketing and the Sales Teams
- Perform, analyse and understand monthly results and ensure business partners are regularly updated on performance and full year forecasts
- Support completion of the annual budget, as well as forecast and re-estimate
- Coordinate monthly S&OP financial process with key stakeholders and translate forecast into accurate financials, developing contingencies plans and evaluate business opportunities with cluster & local business partners
- Drive simplification initiatives and best practices in coordination with rest of Cluster Finance team
- Support the organization in the phase-in/phase out of new products, minimizing obsolescence and providing alternative plans to accelerate stock depletion
- Ensure processes and controls are fit for purpose in the sales control environment
- Improve A/R - Work with the SSC A/R team, Credit & Collections Analyst and the local Sales Teams to minimize Accounts Receivables and facilitate timely resolution of open deductions and outstanding invoices
- Secure compliance with SOAR / GIA policies and accounting principles
- Respond to ad-hoc queries
- Graduate level in business/finance or equivalent
- Commercial Controlling Experience, incl. Budgeting, PxP, PxC
- USGAAP exposure
- Solid accountancy understanding and experience
- Project Management Experience
- Fluent in English and ideally Italian
- 3 /5years of experience
- Have strong commercial awareness understanding the wider context in which the business operates
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, working with all levels within a cross-functional organization
- Strong drive for results, accuracy and controls compliance
- Demonstrate ability to influence across the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities - Value Added mentality
