- A Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences (biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, etc.), or a dual qualification in Life Sciences and Business. A PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Neuroscience, etc., is a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of research environments in cell biology, molecular biology, and protein analysis.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Independence, rigor, organizational skills, a field-oriented mindset, and a strong problem-solving approach to provide concrete solutions to customer needs.
- Basic experience in B2B sales of scientific products.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients (academic, hospital, biotech/pharma) in the south of Italy.
- Meet revenue and margin objectives set by management.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach (calls, emails, social media, scientific events, etc.).
- Organize on-site customer events (seminars, workshops, user days) to present specific technical applications.
- Maintain activity and opportunity data in the CRM system.
- Identify researchers' specific needs and propose tailored technical solutions from our broad Life Sciences product range.
- Promote products and services through demonstrations, technical presentations, and participation in scientific events.
