
Plant Quality Manager – Advanced Precision Components

- Ensure full compliance with applicable quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) at plant level
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams within the plant
- Coordinate and monitor all quality processes: incoming inspection, in-process control, final inspection
- Act as main point of contact for customer quality issues, audits, and non-conformity management
- Monitor quality KPIs (scrap rate, customer claims, internal defects, PPM) and implement action plans
- Manage the plant audit program (internal, customer, third-party), including preparation and follow-up
- Oversee problem-solving activities (8D, root cause analysis, containment and corrective actions)
- Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with Production and Engineering departments
- Support supplier quality management for key plant-sourced components
- Report regularly to plant management and global quality leadership on status, risks, and initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials)
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality roles within manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in leading plant-level quality teams and managing complex quality systems
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
- Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving capabilities, and customer-oriented approach
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
