
Technical Support Expert - Tunnel

- Ensure ongoing operational follow-up and mechanical support for all Tunnel equipment and associated trade component
- Provide expert technical support to maintain reliability and performance in the field
- Participate in the internal and external validation of modifications and product variants for new additions to the Tunnel product portfolio
- Collaborate with other relevant teams to align on product updates and changes
- Take responsibility for executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as part of the issue resolution process
- Support the development and implementation of recovery plans and corrective actions, working closely with various departments
- Secure troubleshooting on Tunnel and associated trade equipment
- Support the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities.
- Execute RCA on Tunnel equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions.
- Secure the application of retrofits on the Tunnel products installed base, where necessary.
- Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start-up, validation, commissioning, and services (onsite).
- Support Regional Product Support during start-up and commissioning of L3/L4 Tunnel equipment.
- Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting.
- Improve personal competences on Tunnel, and trade associated equipment in addition to line equipment’s.
- Support in the workshop L4 prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test).
- Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants.
- Move in zones to reinforce expertise, analysis and communication within Q&TS teams.
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification
- Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, French and Spanish will be a plus; A good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration.
- 5 years at least of technical assistance, field experience or engineering on Tunnel or process equipment’s
- Bottlewasher and Pasteurizer equipment will be a plus
- Rigorous, dynamic, organized, proactive, ability to work autonomously.
- Availability to travel up to 75%.
- SAP knowledge will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Sidel Tunnel products and processes will be a plus.
- Excellent reporting capability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented.
- Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
