Junior Accountant

• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and manage bookkeeping and other; accounting operations based on the Italian system;
• Assist with daily finance operations (daily payment list, bank transactions, etc);
• Assist with monthly credit card movement bookkeeping and tracking;
• Assist monthly and yearly accounting closing processes in a deadline-driven environment;
• Assist sales & vendors invoice issuing process;
• Closely work with the customer operations team and assist them in various functions (refunding, customer balances, etc);
• Actively participate in improving the current accounting process;
• Keep up with financial policy regulation and legislation changes;
• Support during the audit process;
• Take responsibility with the Intrastat Model;
• Help the accounting archive process.

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in a related area;
• Accountant high school diploma preferred;
• Fluency in Italian, good communication level in English (B2 and above);
• Proficiency in SAP is not a must but a plus;
• 2+ years of professional experience in an Accounting Department or Tax/Outsourcing Department in service sector companies;
• Good knowledge of MS Office;
• Good understanding of the Italian Tax Code;
• Preferably knowledge/experience in various incentive legislation (R&D, social security, etc.);
• Big 4 experience is a plus.
