Not only tasks and goals, but singular people and stories that mix, adding their own color to an iconic brand.We are looking for a Series Procurement BuyerYou will report to the Head of Powertrain, Metal & Motorsport and you will carry out all the negotiation activities with suppliers/partners for the competent parts and evaluates their offers in order to define contracts by taking care of yearly budget achievement.You will be responsible of the following activities:
  • Collecting and negotiating offers with suppliers/partners;
  • Organizing and presenting the sourcing documentation in the corresponding sourcing committee in order to support the supplier’s decision
  • Achieving the yearly committed target in terms of savings on total turnover;
  • Entering/updating contracts for series parts;
  • Managing the ordering of series toolings and moulds to the series suppliers;
  • Negotiating changes, development costs with suppliers/partners;
  • Managing changes requests within the SET for purchasing issues;
  • Managing single orders for proto, samples;
  • Identifying a list of potential suppliers/partners (where needed for specification of technical aspects);
  • Performing world wide global sourcing activities (where needed);
  • Managing the supplier relocation activities;
  • Presenting in the sourcing committees in company group when needed;
  • Attending SETs meetings.
About you:
  • University degree in EngineeringEconomy
  • 3 years of experience and proven competence in Automotive/Mechanics companies: purchasing, technical/commercial roles, project management
  • Basic General Technical product knowledge
  • Fluent English, German will be considered a plus
  • Good negotiations skills
  • Able to manage complex supply chain
