- Have a good understanding of the Contracts managed.
- Translating Design Intent into Reality (i.e. follow the design development and the production drawings)
- Ensure that the original design concept—whether it is their own or developed by another architect—is faithfully interpreted and integrated into each phase of the project. Their understanding of spatial relationships, materials, and construction technology helps preserve the integrity of the design while adapting to inevitable project constraints and changes.
- Comprehensive Project Planning
- Oversee the creation of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations and the production process.
- Production Process and Progress. A necessary part of this work role is to follow and coordinate the different teams of Procurement, Design Development, Production and Suppliers, Assembly, Quality Verification Stage, till the shipment process and arrival on site.
- Coordination with the Delivery team, ensuring they have all the information and necessary tools to complete the works.
- Stakeholder Coordination. A vital part of the role is communication and negotiation with a diverse group of stakeholders: clients, architects, engineers, contractors. With a background in architecture, the project manager can “speak the language” of both design and construction, facilitating clearer communication and more informed decision making.
- Draft letters and dealing with official communication with the Stakeholders.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving. Complex projects inherently carry risks—budget overruns, scheduling delays, technical challenges, or scope creep. Project managers with architectural expertise are adept at identifying risks early, analysing root causes, and developing effective mitigation strategies grounded in their understanding of design and construction processes.
- Evaluate construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the intended design.
- Advocate for sustainable and innovative building practices, balancing creativity with functionality and cost-efficiency.
- Resolve design and technical issues collaboratively, drawing on their ability to visualise and communicate complex ideas in three dimensions.
- Facilitating collaboration between architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring alignment on goals, methods, and expectations.
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Balancing the needs of the client with the realities of time, budget, and technical constraints.
- They participate in site analyses, feasibility studies, and project programming, contributing insights on spatial organization, building codes, and design possibilities.
- Fluent English Speaking and Writing is a minimum requirement.
- Use and Knowledge on Autocad and Autocad 3D
- One additional Language
