- Manage environmental permits and reporting obligations
- Define and drive HSE strategy and performance across health, safety, energy, and environment
- Implement EHS management system for Italy
- Promote and monitor EHS tools such as risk assessments, compliance reviews, inspections, employee safety dialogues, toolbox talks, to create and develop a safety culture in the organization
- Oversee incident reporting and investigations with corrective and preventive actions
- Implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state regulatory requirements and Grundfos standards
- Provide guidance on emergency preparedness and response for all facilities
- Implement Group and divisional initiatives within the scope of responsibility
- Provide EHS support to Italian sales offices and enhance safety culture
- Lead and coach the EHS team and provide constructive feedback necessary for the team to perform their work effectively
- Encourage trust, inclusivity, and sustainable practices within the department
- Recruit and support team members
- Implement Grundfos' policies and initiatives within their scope of responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality & EHS management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 6 years of experience in EHS and quality roles in a matrix and international
- The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team with different skills and profiles
- Proven skills in performance management, talent development, and conflict resolution
