The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.About the Role:Reporting to the Industrial Manager of Hazelnut Company (HCo) Italy, the UGP Manager will direct and coordinate the activities of the Semifinished Products UGP, ensuring that production goals are met and guaranteeing products food safety and quality and cost efficiency. The UGP Manager will act as a reference point both for the day-to-day management of the UGP and for all the activities connected to the development, improvement and innovation of the products or production lines which falls under his/her supervision.Main Responsabilities:
  • Responsible to ensure the production capacity meets the requirements of the budget based on the budget forecast. Liaise with HCo B2B sales office, schedule machinery/personnel distribute and discuss in team meeting in order to utilise maximum efficiency of machines and personnel
  • Responsible to schedule personnel, materials and machinery for production and packaging lines to satisfy orders received
  • Work on continuous improvement projects
  • Work with maintenance team in order to prioritize intervention to meet production orders efficiently on time and on budget within Ferrero’s quality parameters. Analysis of variances, efficiency and costing determining and implementing the right corrective action. Control the food safety and quality standards within the departments and make sure the hygiene rules are respected
  • Responsible to manage, motivate, coach and train employees in order to ensure productivity, good morale and career development of employees
  • Monitors safety, food safety and quality, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with established company standards
  • Prepares reports and records as necessary to document departmental activities and/or provide information to other management personnel
  • Ensures that disciplinary procedures are handled in a consistent manner according to company policies
  • Weekly Production Plan: approves the weekly production plan, ensures its implementation, and takes appropriate actions in the event of deviations
  • Knowledge of lean basis principles as AOE, OEE for manage and monitor Ferrero Operation KPI’s
Who we are looking for:The successful candidate will demonstrate coaching and development skills, change management and influencing skills, being capable to drive the evolution of the UGP Team while managing the manufacturing activities.REQUIRED:
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science and Technology or similar
  • Solid experience in team management
  • Previous experience in manufacturing management
  • Problem solving and leadership
  • Project management skills
  • Italian and English professional proficiency
