- Manage all subscriber communications via email and phone in a timely and professional manner
- Process new subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and address updates
- Resolve delivery issues, claims for missing copies, and payment inquiries
- Maintain accurate subscriber records in the database
- Support reader engagement and retention initiatives
- Coordinate print run distribution with printers, warehouses, and shipping partners
- Oversee domestic and international mailing lists and ensure data accuracy
- Monitor delivery timelines and troubleshoot logistical issues
- Liaise with distributors, bookstores, and institutional clients
- Build and maintain personal relationships with niche bookshops and independent stockists
- Prepare shipment documentation and track deliveries
- Maintain and update subscription and distribution databases
- Generate periodic reports on subscriptions, renewals, and delivery performance
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reprints when necessary
- Assist with invoicing and payment reconciliation related to subscriptions and distribution
- Support operational improvements in customer service and fulfillment processes
- Previous experience in customer service, distribution, publishing, or operations management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and database management
- Familiarity with Google Analytics for monitoring subscription and traffic performance
- Confident use of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for day-to-day operations and file management
- Familiarity with magazine or book distribution is an advantage
- Part-time position: 20 hours per week
