ENERGY ENGINEER - INTERNSHIPFUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE:The Energy Engineer takes care of the management of the energy consumption of Quattordio plant and performs a recurring energy diagnostic analysis comparing consumption levels with production activity.It defines the times and procedures for the measurements of electricity, gas and thermal energy consumptions using the meters already installed in the plant, measuring the energy efficiency of the plant when compared to production output.The Energy Engineer then suggests and develops new projects, from small to larger scope, with the aim of improving the energy efficiency of the site, with the support of the Engineering and Maintenance teams.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and implement an energy management program and an energy review procedure
Promote new projects for energy saving purposes
Conduct and document regular energy devices inspections
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Energy Engineering degree preferred
Waste management qualification
Autocad user
