Join Vestas and become part of our Development Team in Rome, working with national and international stakeholders and enjoying professional career development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for the preparation of environmental, technical, and financial studies during project development.Review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, Single Authorization documentation, feasibility studies, and environmental due diligence for wind farm projects.Conduct site visits together with consultants and Vestas' subject matter experts across different development stages.Prepare project budgets, execution timelines, and monitor overall project progress.Prepare and submit applications to relevant authorities (EIA procedures, Single Authorization, PAUR, etc.), ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Manage relationships with relevant authorities, support stakeholder engagement campaigns, and participate in public consultations as part of the permitting process.Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams (engineering, environmental, financial, etc.) to ensure project success.QualificationsDegree in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar). Bachelor's degree is acceptable.2-3 years of experience in renewable project development (wind or other renewable sectors such as solar or energy).Experience in project management, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal specialists.Hands-on experience with budget preparation and monitoring project timelines.GIS knowledge is required (minimum of 1-2 years in development).Native Italian speaker with fluency in English (intermediate or higher for internal documentation).Ability to coordinate with external stakeholders and participate in permitting processes.Willingness to travel approximately 30% of working time for site visits.CompetenciesStrong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.Health & Safety focused mindset.Strategic problem-solving approach and ability to implement effective action plans.What we offerExciting opportunity to join the newest business unit within Vestas, shaping the future of renewable energy projects.Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.Competitive compensation: base salary 36,000 gross, plus bonus.Life and medical insurance for employees.Professional growth opportunities within an international leader in renewable energy.Work with a highly skilled team of professionals on projects from origination to ready-to-build status.Additional InformationThis position is located in Rome.
