- Oversee the establishment and improvement of forecasting techniques and methods, including statistical models and software tools, that move the team more towards demand planning.
- Ensure that inventory targets, including safety stock levels approved by management, are maintained and optimized for the European market.
- Prepare and communicate planning KPIs to management.
- Initiate and complete projects that improve the overall efficiency of the planning team and contribute to the overall efficiency of the regional team. Including MOQ management, supplier rationalization, seasonal readiness preparation, etc.
- Act as the primary contact point for all planning-related questions and issues within the European region.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Demand Planning team, ensuring professional development and progression within their roles.
- As part of the global team collaborate with regional teams and intercompany stakeholders to align demand planning strategies and objectives
- Professional Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in demand planning, with a focus on statistical models, software tools, and market analysis.
- Accountability: Hold responsibility for meeting team targets that impact the European region's performance and contribute to medium-term goals of the global team.
- Impact: Make significant contributions to team performance and regional planning strategies while ensuring global alignment.
- Knowledge & Application: Utilize extensive knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures to determine appropriate courses of action and modify processes as needed.
- Problem Solving: Apply previous experience, analysis, and investigation to identify the best options for solving a range of complex planning problems.
- Interaction: Communicate complex information effectively within the team and provide informal guidance to less experienced colleagues. Demonstrate the ability to interact at a global level, ensuring clear communication of both regional and global requirements.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning or related fields.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant demand planning software and tools.
