- Lead Innovation Projects: Own the end-to-end packaging innovation pipeline for Surface Care and Laundry categories-from concept ideation to commercialization.
- Consumer-Centric Design: Translate consumer insights and market trends into compelling packaging solutions that enhance user experience, product protection, and shelf appeal.
- Sustainability Focus: Drive the development of sustainable and circular packaging solutions aligned with corporate sustainability targets and industry regulations.
- Technical Development: Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to develop, test, and validate new materials, formats, and technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory to ensure alignment and execution of packaging innovation plans.
- Vendor Engagement: Identify and manage external partners (suppliers, design agencies, technology providers) to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
- Cost Optimization: Balance innovation and cost-effectiveness through efficient design, material selection, and operational feasibility.
- Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of packaging projects using stage-gate or agile methodologies while managing risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure packaging meets all regulatory, safety, and quality standards globally or regionally, as applicable.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in packaging innovation, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven experience in developing packaging for Surface Care or Laundry categories is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of packaging manufacturing processes (e.g., blow moulding, flexibles, rigid plastics, printing, filling lines).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and design thinking.
- Experience working in a global or regional role with multi-market exposure.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and circular design principles.
