Work Flexibility: OnsiteThe Job’s Mission:As a Workshop Technician you will primarily be responsible for the correct test and repair of Stryker equipment, as well as movement of stock between repair status areas, handling of incoming calls into the department, restocking of consumables and liaising with the Customer service team.You will also utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of loan equipment and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.This is a great opportunity to gain insights at one of the world's largest medical technology organizations. This position is based in our Formello office.Find out more about our Orthopaedic Instruments and Endoscopy products via the links:Endoscopy:Orthopaedic Instruments:What you will doManage daily workload within the workshop to meet demand plans and customer needs with minimal supervisionEnsure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely mannerWork with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipmentResponding to customer and internal queries in a timely, efficient and professional mannerProvide reporting and documentation on all aspects of work within the workshopAssist with ERP Data entry, quoting and repair of customer equipmentMaintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional developmentEnsure that Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agentsWhat you needFluent in Local Language as well as minimum level of EnglishEducational requirements per country specific regulationsEducated to degree level is preferable with experience in at least one of the following:Biomedical, Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringService and maintenance of medical equipmentPrevious experience of maintenance and repair of medical equipmentFull Driver’s licenseExperience in a technical / engineering role, ideally in the hospital / medical environmentWhat We OfferWe grow talent: we give you the opportunity to develop your career based on your strengths at the direction that you aspire.Recognition of your performance: at our company, outstanding individual and cross-functional team performance is rewarded.
