On behalf of our client, a multinational company, we are looking for a:SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER | AUTOMOTIVEThe supplier quality engineer is responsible as the key liaison between operations, suppliers, and the customer, ensuring that overall specifications, quality/regulatory requirements, and expectations are met for all purchased products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Potential supplier scouting and assessment;Supplier development in prototyping phase in conjunction with engineering and purchasing teams;Ensure full alignment of supplier product and process with Customer Specific Requirements;Perform regular supplier auditing to ensure compliance with agreed product and process specifications;Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality performance;Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates;Manage supplier complaints including non-conformity management and problem-solving support;Frequent business trips (up to 25%), more frequently (50%) in the initial phase.REQUIREMENTS:Min 3-5 years automotive (OEM or Tier1 supplier of assembled complex components or similar)Preference for technical background or equivalent working experience in metal forming, metallic components, plastic components manufacturingStrong preference for certified process auditor according to VDA 6.3 or equivalentRequired English language competence (B2 or above)SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:Highly proactive, flexible, self-motivated, driven and results-oriented;Good communication, relation and decision-making skills.Salary Package: the salary will be commensurate with the seniority of the candidate.Location: Southern Turin.According to current legislation, the job offer is for both sexes (L. 903/77).
