The new director will have the following main responsibilities:
  • Define the manufacturing plans for the Group and implement coherent strategies and tools to directly drive continuous improvement of the service and quality levels, while reducing manufacturing costs and minimising variances between actual and standard costs;
  • Supervise all manufacturing activities, focusing on supply chain and logistics (inbound, outbound and planning), global procurement and quality;
  • Lead directly the following functions: BU Operations, Operations Mgr./ Directors Markets / Regions, Purchasing Director, Quality Director and WCM Teams;
  • Implement integration and digitisation of the manufacturing processes, together with footprint optimisation and definition and implementation of the make or buy strategy;
  • Lead effective manufacturing cost reduction maintaining an high level of quality and service excellence;
  • Propose ESG initiatives, according to the ESG plan approved by the Board of Directors;
  • Be informed about the market developments and identifies potential operational improvements also implementing good practices in the business field to foster the company's global growth;
  • Redefine the industrial footprint according to Group industrial strategy, proposing decision on the capital investments and the related execution (to be carried out in line with the Capex plan approved by the Board of Directors);
  • Execute the extraordinary initiatives for the reorganisation of the production structure;
  • Focus on Lean production, WCM and Working Capital optimisation;
  • Contribute to define and implement the Group strategic business plan.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in engineering, manufacturing, business administration or related field required. MBA or advanced degree is desirable;
  • Proven experience in a leading position within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions, gained preferably in international complex industrial environment;
  • Financial management and budgeting skills together with Lean Manufacturing and WCM knowledge;
  • Demonstrate strong attitude in the management of the teams, working in complex matrix structures, also in presence of heterogeneous international cultural mix, with an extensive knowledge in the technical and industrial fields to achieve successful performance;
  • High achiever, stress management, openness to change and strong analytic skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal reasoning skills that will allow to drive the change needed, working with the management team;
  • Decision making, initiative and entrepreneurship attitude;
  • Authority, goal orientation and reliability;
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
