We have an exciting opportunity for you!Join our EHS department as Manager in Segrate, Italy. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of site health and safety and ensuring the environmental sustainability of our operations.At LEO Pharma, we share a “challenge accepted” mindset, we look for people who thrive in unchartered territory, capable of handling versatile roles and willing to shape the LEO Pharma of tomorrow, with the aim to keep owning the space for underserved dermatological diseases and leaving a valuable legacy behind.Your RoleAs our Manager in EHS, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications in collaboration with the Engineering Department.
  • Monitoring the environmental impact of site activities to maintain environmental sustainability.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with national and European standards for personnel health and safety.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with national and European standards for waste, wastewater, emissions, and resource consumption.
  • Updating and maintaining the Risk Assessment Document.
  • Assessing EHS impacts during new product introductions and change procedures.
  • Implementing environmental impact reduction programs.
  • Recommending, designing, developing, and implementing safety programs.
  • Supervising the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting inspections to enforce safety regulations.
  • Conducting internal EHS audits.
  • Participating in Safety Committee meetings and acting as a liaison with health and safety authorities and trade unions.
Your QualificationsTo excel in this role, we imagine that you have:
  • Degree in engineering or other technical disciplines
  • Experience in production plants, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or fast-moving industries
  • Previous experience as a RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
