
Robotic Technical Product Specialist (Center Italy)

- Accountable for the sales forecast and sales budget
- Provide and facilitate technical expertise through OR assistance to the existing accounts and potential new customers
- Arrange and set up product trainings for customers and sales force
- Conduct research in partnership with the Italy Orthopedic Sales Team and marketing team to identify new potential accounts
- Handle objections and use a variety of skills to persuade and negotiate appropriately
- Provide honest feedback and after-sales support
- Responsible to grow and retain existing accounts by introducing and launching new product ranges and software associated to the respective technology
- Attend to major conferences to provide marketing insights and driven inputs
- Find opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors benchmarking to develop unique selling proposition and differentiators messaging
- Execute the Italian marketing strategy and cooperate with Cluster organization to make sure the major robotic country develop the right servicing and maintenance infrastructure
- Efficient communication these to appropriate internal partners in a timely manner to help develop new opportunities and optimize alignment through cross-franchise
- Bachelor’s science degree
- Experience in Medical Devices, ideally Medtech Industry (Robotics)
- Ideal background in Ortho field
- Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business
- Demonstrate understanding and application of complex sales techniques and track record creating, negotiating and closing large-scale deals
- Multi-national / cross cultural project management experience preferred
- Proven ability to define and operationalize sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Expected to travel 80 % of the time (central Italy)
- Focus on region: Central Italy (candidates to be based in this area)
- Willing to work in enabling technologies and innovation
- Knowledge to build solid relationships with clinical and no clinical stakeholders
- Strong commercial leadership and motivation to sell medical device solution
