Come Innovate Motion with UsWe are looking for a detail-oriented Regional Cloud Engineer to join our Europe IT team and the IT Infrastructure Competence Center located in Asti, Italy. As a Regional Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Johnson Electric cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure (and/or other Cloud systems). You will work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, security, and application development teams to ensure our cloud solutions are efficient, secure, and aligned with best practices.Your responsibilities will be to:Design and deploy scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft AzureImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or TerraformAutomate cloud operations and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsMonitor and optimize performance, cost, and security of Azure resourcesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and modernization projectsMaintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and proceduresEnsure compliance with organizational and industry standards for cloud security and governanceOur requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud servicesStrong understanding of Azure networking, identity (Azure AD), storage, and compute servicesProficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python preferred)Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD toolsFamiliarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security CenterStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAzure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plusKnowledge of other server operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and Hypervisor (ESX, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.)Excellent documentation and communication skillsExperience with migration from on-prem to the Azure CloudAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with hybrid cloud environments, knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on AKS), and familiarity with governance frameworks like Azure Policy and Blueprints are preferredWhat we offer:Join our team as a Regional Cloud Engineer and contribute to the seamless functioning and optimization of our organization's IT hybrid infrastructure.
