On behalf of a global leader in solutions for energy transition and circular economy, including Energy from Waste and Renewable Gas, we are looking for an:Anaerobic Digestion Process EngineerThe ideal candidate has a process engineering background and has gained significant experience in similar roles within EPC contractors or engineering firms specialized in design and construction of biogas/biomethane plants.The candidate will hold a key position in the project execution and will be accountable for developing and defining the process engineering of a given project.Main responsibilities:
  • Development of piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID);
  • Dimensioning of static and rotating equipment;
  • Technical evaluation and comparison of process related parts of offers from suppliers;
  • Development of documentation and participation to HAZOP sessions;
  • Development of functional descriptions and logic diagrams as a basis for the programming of the plant automation and their testing (FAT);
  • Carrying out and supporting official inspections and tests on the construction site;
  • Support to Commissioning Team for Process related items, Process reviews during commissioning and before trial operation;
  • Preparation of project-specific documentation (manuals and CE documentation).
Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Energy Engineering;
  • At least 2 years of experience in anaerobic digestion and biogas/biomethane production processes;
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to consider complex multi-disciplinary aspects of problems;
  • Competence and ability to take decisions within the frame defined by company processes;
  • Oral and written English proficiency level (any other additional languages is appreciated).
