Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: BL Instrumentation Quality ManagerYour Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local division, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Assists the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. Collaborates with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.- Work model: #Li-OnsiteIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:Supporting the deployment of quality strategy and objectives within the local ABB unit, maintaining and improving the quality management system in collaboration with local functions [Key responsibility 2]Acting as a local process owner for defined quality-related processes, driving continuous improvement through planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation.Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and supporting external audits by customers or certification bodiesUtilizing quality data analytics (especially CCRP) to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.Promoting zero-defect vision, supporting quality-related communication, and collaborating across teams and functions to enhance quality performance and customer satisfaction.Qualifications for the RoleYou have proven experience managing a Quality Management System (QMS) in all aspects: documentation, audits, data analysis, and customer claims. Strong background in Quality Assurance, Quality Excellence, and Process Governance. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified (is a plus).You possess previous experience in complex, matrix-structured organizations (automotive sector is a plus).You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.You are skilled in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement. You have strong critical thinking and attention to detail in identifying issues and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001.
