Perform on-site inspections, examinations and audits to assess compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed inspection, examination and audit reports, documenting findings and providing clear recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections.
Material and Procedure Review:
Review materials, manufacturing/process procedures and testing methods (e.g. NDT) to ensure they meet certification requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor the quality control processes during the activities, ensuring adherence to quality control plans.
Code Compliance:
Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure that all inspections or examinations are conducted in accordance with the latest requirements.
Qualification:
Assess the qualifications and certifications of services and operators, ensuring they meet the appropriate standards.
Safety:
Promote and enforce safety measures, ensuring that the operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
Evaluate the reliability of equipment and plant inspected with tests and measures to ensure a compliance safety.
Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients, answer their questions competently, and providing information about the certification scheme.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection procedures.
Training:
Stay current with the latest inspection techniques and technologies, and provide training to colleagues and clients as needed #LI-MP3Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial service inspection, particularly in areas such as welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification, and CE marking.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and mandatory certifications relevant to industrial services (e.g. pressure vessels, piping, valves, etc.).
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and technical standards applicable to industrial services and equipment (ASME Codes, EN standards, etc)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and compliance documentation.
- Attention to detail and the ability to assess compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Holding ASME Authorized Inspector qualification.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and test equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and under the supervision of senior inspectors for more complex assignments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear recommendations for compliance improvements.
- Certifications or professional membership in relevant bodies (e.g.,Welding Engineer, NDT qualifictions, CE marking expert) is a plus.
