- Maintain demo assets across hardware, software, and IT; perform/organize repairs, upgrades, and firmware; keep standard images/configurations and restore points.
- Administer licensing, activation, and patching for Rockwell Automation software stacks.
- Maintain spares/cables/consumables/tooling; keep inventory accurate/auditable; support budgeting, quotes/POs, and reconcile deliveries.
- Keep as-built files, schematics, procedures, change logs, demo notes, wiring changes, and safety updates current.
- Translate stakeholder needs into requirements/BOMs and coordinated implementation plans.
- Coordinate cabinet/panel builds with internal-external teams and vendors, schedule commissioning and drive quality issues to closure.
- Proactively plan new or refreshed assets aligned to customer demand and product lifecycle.
- Enforce EHS standards and regulation compliance before/during/after events; manage checklists, risk assessments, and ensure readiness for reviews.
- Maintain center OT network (e.g., Stratix/VLANs), secure credentials, manage guest access; coordinate with IT/OT security
- Ensure AV/conferencing and visitor data hygiene are reliable; communicate proactively with customers, guests, sales, and technical stakeholders on schedules, readiness, and prerequisites.
- Work closely with building vendors (facilities, catering, security, etc.) for overall execution of meetings/events and to ensure the center is always customer ready.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for the Customer Experience Center including managing audio-visual, room requests and reservations.
- Coordinate activities with the Briefing Coordinator/Manager and provide backup support when needed.
- Track KPIs, assets, maintenance, and event calendars in collaboration with the center's administrator
- Troubleshoot and handle any issues that may arise during customer or executive meetings.
- Fluent in Italian & English
- Technical degree in one of the following Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation/Computer Science (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation (lab, test, field service, system integration, panel build, or commissioning).
- PLC/Automation controller programming, IT network understanding
- Comfortable with safe low-voltage electrical work, reading schematics, basic tooling, and troubleshooting methods.
- Right to work in Italy and ability to be onsite full-time in Bologna.
- 1+ years of experience building/maintaining demo rigs, PoC test stands, or training labs.
- Practical knowledge of Rockwell Automation hardware (e.g., ControlLogix/CompactLogix, GuardLogix, PanelView, PowerFlex, Kinetix, Stratix) and software (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View/Optix, FactoryTalk software products) or strong willingness/ability to learn quickly.
- Familiarity with ThinManager, Emulate3D, PlantPAx concepts, EtherNet/IP, CIP Safety, and basic IT/OT networking
- 1+ years of experience with license management (FactoryTalk Activation), imaging/backup tools, and patching workflows
- Basic proficiency with EPLAN and/or AutoCAD Electrical for documentation practices
- Vendor coordination, procurement, and inventory control experience.
- Relevant certifications (Rockwell Automation, basic safety, networking, TÜV FS Technician - optional).
