Join us!Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Junior Investment Engineer, who will report to the CAPEX Manager of the Business Unit Transmission (Powerlink, part of Prysmian Group) and will be based in our HQ in Milan, Italy.The Junior Investment Engineer main tasks are to support the governance and management of manufacturing investments aimed at increasing capacity and capability of the Group's High Voltage Submarine and Land Plants. To cover its tasks the Junior Investment Engineer will be available for a short assignment in a specific plant in order to manage the installation and commissioning of machinery, in addition to business travels among plants.Who are we looking for?The main duties of the role are the following: * Coordinate with Manufacturing team to assess tenders’ needs in terms of plant’s CAPEX and have frequent alignments with Machinery department to verify investment feasibility
  • Coordinate with the CAPEX Manager to prepare investments Business Cases for Investment Committee and BoD aimed at getting the project approval
  • Assess the machinery capabilities among the HV Submarine and Land plants of the Group and collect, update and manage this information in an internal database
  • Support the CAPEX Manager during recurring meetings about plants capacities and capabilities with System Engineering and Supply Chain Departments
  • Collaborate with Plants and Machinery Department in monitoring the progress on the investment’s timeline
  • Promote standardization, improvements, lessons learned and best practice collection and implementation across plants
Key requirements: * Industrial/Civil Engineering master’s degree (mechanical, electrical, aerospatial, chemical, electronic)
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken; other languages (French, German, Finnish, Italian) will be a plus.
  • Three years of experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in process, maintenance or machine design.
  • Travel expected: about 30%
