- Developing and implementing health and safety procedures in line with standards and legal requirements.
- Conducting safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Providing health and safety training to staff and maintaining training records.
- Handling any incidents, investigating their causes, and recommending improvements.
- Keeping up-to-date with latest regulations and best practices in health and safety.
- Acting as a liaison with external health and safety authorities, as needed.
- Contributing to the identification of risk factors, risk assessment in compliance with the Italian regulations in force;
- Elaborate, propose and promote preventive and protective measures and control systems of these measures in the field of occupational and environmental safety;
- Supervise the actions defined following audits and analysis of near misses;
- Manage consultant in charge of safety management;
- Collaborate with the other Corporate Functions in the preparation of documentation technical/operational documentation on safety in the workplace;
- Verify that suppliers operate in compliance with company HSE policies;
- Verification of the contractor’s documents
- 4/7 years' experience in the role, in project activities in major events companies or industry consulting companies;
- Previous experience in construction and auditing activities is preferable;
- Adequate knowledge of environmental legislation, occupational safety and the ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards;
- Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Office package. In particular, advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point. Possible certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as safety manager
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to perform one's role in a transversal manner;
- Place of work: Milan with the possibility of travel and relocation to the Clusters in the BUMP IN phase.
