- Translate elements of the ESG framework into the investment process to ensure planned investments meet agreed ESG goals and targets (e.g. sustainability risk management, SFDR Article 8/9, EU Taxonomy),
- Periodically identify the ESG roadmap to increase the level of sustainability ambitious of the Firm's perimeter,
- Support the investment manager providing ESG relevant inputs in fund structuring, design, and portfolio built-up,
- Support the Investors Relation process in the valorisation of the ESG characteristics of the funds with the investors,
- Oversee periodic inspections being the point of contact on ESG topics for the assets under management with internal (e.g., risk management, compliance, investment teams, ...) and external stakeholders (ie. investors, 3rd party asset managers, investee companies) in cross-functional projects,
- Ensure proper investors and associations (UN PRI, TFCD, industry associations, …) reporting to internal and external clients according to the agreed timeline and templates,
- Support Top Management in the promotion of the sustainability culture within the company.
- Master's degree in finance, economics, management with 5/7 years' experience (at least 3 of which spent in ESG/ Sustainable investing vertical). Any further qualification in ESG would be considered a plus,
- Professional background in private assets (ie. private debt/ equity with underlying investments in corporate/ real estate/ infrastructure), directly gained or in specialised advisor firms,
- Solid knowledge European regulatory framework relevant for the investment management (ie. SFDR) and corporate organization (ie. Taxonomy, CSRD),
- Previous experience in asset owner/ institutional investors or asset/ investment manager would be considered a strong plus. Similar experience in Banking sector can be evaluated,
- Good/advanced knowledge of capital markets and alternative asset classes characteristics,
- Solid understanding of sustainable investing initiatives (i.e. UN PRI, TCFD, SASB, …),
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate research findings in both written and spoken format,
- Comfortable collaborating closely with a variety of senior management, external and internal to the Firm,
- Strong practical sense, good simplification skills and result-oriented,
- Self-starter with ability to quickly build multi-stakeholder relationships,
- Preferably international expertise and fluent in Italian and English.
