- Provide technical and clinical information to customers by demonstrating the full range of product features and benefits.
- Develop, coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software and applications of the GE Healthcare portfolio of scanners and post-processing workstation.
- Provide post-training reports, regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs for the internal Sales and Service organization.
- Monitor and control customer satisfaction through continuing education trainings, optimization of the performances of the GE Healthcare equipment utilized by users.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing GE Healthcare product demonstration and workstation promotion as well as customer training.
- Support product launches and advise the sales force during acquisition.
- Work closely with the Account Managers, as well as other local team members, during multiple phases of the sales and implementation processes, helping to raise and develop commercial opportunities.
- Use product knowledge to assist commercial and marketing teams in developing sales tools.
- Increase orders, sales, margin, and share through world-class clinical consulting, strong customer relationships, and educational support for regional sales team, local/national “show sites” and regional customer base. These roles require specialty clinical qualifications.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- Monitor clinical trends, technologies and product introduction by competitors to help build commercial strategies and preferences among customers.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical Engineering or related.
- Easy to establish relationships with people, open and flexible to work outside of the office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide for training, sales meetings and tradeshows
- To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record
- Solid problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
- Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
- Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)
- Experience in medical diagnostic ultrasound devices market (nice to have)
- Clinical ultrasound scanning skills (nice to have)
- Fluent in English and Italian
