To support our growth, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector Consultant to join our team.Work Place
The work place is Busto Arsizio but you must be available to travel weekly to Hungary, mainly to Budapest, to visit the factories and conduct quality control.Main tasks
Quality control of product and quality reports creation.Specific Tasks
Monitor the quality of production according with customers’ requirement as shown in Brandart’s official Technical Data Sheets (TDS); to detect defective pieces and records them in Quality Reports; to suggest Corrective Actions to the Vendor(s) and to follow-up their implementation and effectiveness.
Perform inline inspection and write the report so to improve the general quality in the production line.
Perform final inspection and write the report so to release the shipment.
Provide valuable solution to reduce defect rate and avoid potential risk of complaint.
Check and approve raw materials before start the assembling.
Arrange physical tests before approving materials and PPS.
Meet and align the QC team of our vendors about quality standards and procedures.
Provide quality technical support to the PM team and planning team.
Perform and evaluate physical tests reports before release the productions.
Coordinate with the regulatory dept. in order to verify that all the productions have been tested according to the precise standards requested by customers.
Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports for evaluation by the Headquarter.
Suggest ways to the Vendor(s) to reduce waste and increase efficiency; and to define quality procedures to be followed by the Vendor(s) in conjunction with Brandart Team and the operating staff of the Vendor(s).Required Skills
Working experience: 5-10 years in the role
Experience in packaging items products
Experience in textile/paper packaging is a plus
Knowledge of AQL Standard
English: fluent level (knowledge of Hungarian is a plus)
Detail-oriented
Strong written and oral communications
Problem solving
