The propulsion requirements and integration engineer will join the Preliminary Design team in charge of future programs and technology demonstrators within the company.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAs propulsion requirements and integration engineer in this organization, you will:Lead the definition and completeness of the requirements for the program and system specificationLead the flow down of requirements to different subsystems, modules and disciplinesLead the definition of Validation and Verification plans at system level, ensuring the completeness and successful implementation in critical modules executed by suppliersLead the system configuration of test vehicles making sure they meet the demonstration objectives, performing technical analysis to verify physical & functional attributesManage the evolution of the system configuration for different demonstration vehiclesRepresent the engineering and system organization onsite at the premises of involved supplier(s)Ensure fluid communication between internal and external technical teamsContribute as key member of the Systems organization leading the engine architecture and coordinating the execution of all engineering activities to meet the objectives defined on time and budgetLead and support technical and program reviews, presenting to wide audiences from technical experts to executive leadershipEnsure compliance with internal processes and practicesEnsure proper documentation of all workThe role requires frequent travel and time spent at supplier locations in the USQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s degree in engineering from an accredited University; Aerospace preferredSignificant experience on systems engineering and/or a variety of technical disciplines related to propulsionExperience in Product Development of complex products/systems in very early phases from conceptual level through New Product Introduction phaseAircraft integration and aircraft requirements management experienceFamiliarity with Research and Technology development environment and processes, including Intellectual Property handling and patentingFluency in EnglishAvailability to travelAbility to meet the eligibility criteria for travelling and/or deployment to US, according to local regulation, is requiredWork VISA, according to local regulation, is requiredDesired characteristicsKnowledge of product and configuration management processes for gas turbines or similar systemsKnowledge of requirements managementPassionate about Aviation products and innovationCan do attitude capable to manage uncertainty and changing environmentsExperience working with cross-functional teams in a multinational environmentWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
