Campus Residential Life Educator - Sport Academy

- Daily work shift in the afternoon and night (about 4-11pm)
- 3/4 nights on duty (passive supervision), sleeping in a separate private room, being on call in case of emergency.
- Weekly shifts
- Create training courses for adolescent students with competence and professionalism (inclusion, specific issues related to adolescence, reflection courses on cultural and current affairs)
- Develop educational projects specifically designed for students-athletes
- Provide a sympathetic presence in the House; to liaise closely with Head of Boarding and other staff concerning the progress and welfare of students
- Build positive, professional relationships with parents, agents and guardians
- Provide relevant staff with information about individual students as necessary
- Support and lead children and young people between 14 and 19 years old during afternoon activities (homework, educational activities, recreational moments) but also on weekends, outside strictly school times
- Take care of the ordinary and extraordinary needs of the students who live in our boarding (study, well-being, safety, practical aspects of hospitality, health, cleanliness)
- Supervision and vigilance during breaks (snacks and dinners, evenings but also some nights during the week) interacting with young boarders and knowing how to intervene competently in relationships
- Coordinate and collaborate with the whole team in a shared co-responsibility based on educational passion
- Manage group dynamics together with relational and communication skills
- 3-5 years of professional experience related to higher education, coaching, international schools, psychology, and/or counselling
- Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred studies in education and pedagogy
- Previous experience working with children aged 12-18 years old
- Working experience abroad or at an international company preferred
- Native Arabic speaker with at least a B2 knowledge of English (knowledge of Italian is well appreciated)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
