Company: MercerDescription:COMPENSATION CONSULTING – SENIOR CONSULTANT / MANAGERMercer is looking for a brilliant and talented candidate to join us as a Compensation Consulting Senior Consultant / Manager in the Reward & Executive Compensation Practice based on Milan or Rome office.What can you expect?Our Rewards Practice supports Clients in connecting their strategic business objectives and their implications for their Executive Compensation, Rewards and Incentive Systems. Reward Consultants work with a wide range of clients to help them develop and implement reward programs for their employees, providing expert advice on pay philosophy, reward strategy, incentive design, market trends, regulations and best practices. Drawing on global research and rigorous analysis, Compensation Consultants equip our Clients, part national and international listed and privately-owned companies environment, with guidance, knowledge, tools and support to ensure their reward programs reinforce their strategic objectives.In addition, you’ll be asked to give value to the working team through your ability to interpret and draw meaningful conclusions starting from quantitative analysis, organization-specific issues and clients’ business performance mainframe. In short time you will be able to understand and connect clients’ strategic business objectives and their implications for Executive Compensation, Rewards and Incentive Systems within the national and international listed and privately-owned companies environment. You will be part of the Executive Compensation and Broad-based Rewards area and you will support the team in delivering projects bringing your fresh and innovative thinking and experience.Main activities and responsibilities:Contribute to execution and management of clients projects delivery in line with strategic directions: perform analysis and develop client ready reports prepare presentation and templates using project management tools, estimates hours for the project team and prepare timelines for project milestones;Contribute and advise Remuneration Committees and HR Directors on reward strategy, shareholder consultation, corporate governance, pay regulation, ESG regulation and practices;Assist with the drafting of Director’s Remuneration Reports, providing pay and benefits benchmarking;Prioritize project activities to manage the workload and meet project deadlines, work closely with the team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track;Conduct client interviews, facilitate focus groups, and deliver training;Conduct research and analysis to ensure competitive total rewards offerings;Support Senior Colleagues in the development of commercial proposals;Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, products and services and leverage and reinforce expertise in many of our practice areas (Executive Compensation, Broad-base Reward, Job Evaluation and organization-related issues, incentive plans, etc.);Support in developing the business and the intellectual capital of the Reward Practice.Requirements:Master’s degree in economics, Organization, Management, Engineering or similar;At least 3/5 years of experience in consulting or in HR functions of medium-large size companies with focus on Rewards and Compensation;Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations;Proven experience in client facing roles and attitude to collaborate and working with a cooperative approach;Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering high-quality consulting services; any experience interacting with C-suite executives woud be considered a plus;Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;Fluency in both Italian and English;Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Outlook);Strong numerical and analytical skills.Why joining our team?Training program to ensure the candidate can perform well in the role;Work in growing, dynamic team where your inputs make real difference in business;Development opportunities allowing you to fast track your career;Exposure to various European markets and clients;Multilingual community with inclusive atmosphere​.Mercer is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
