We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Milan. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying defect, conduct tests, and validating that the software functions as intended. Your work will be essential in maintaining high software quality standards and delivering reliable solutions that meet both user and business requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Main Responsibilities
  • Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria and through discussions with product managers and engineering leads, develop test scenarios and success criteria.
  • Document and execute test cases and report back on findings.
  • Check consistency across environments, browsers and operating systems.
  • Provide inputs on high-level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
  • Supervise or test the operation of automated test scenario and report back on results.
  • Assist in the investigation of product issues reported by customers.
Requirements
  • Professional knowledge of English and Italian (B2/C1)
  • 3+ years of hands-on manual/functional testing experience.
  • Deep understanding of software testing, its main concepts, and processes: the bug life cycle; different testing levels, methods, and types; test estimation techniques.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in using tools such as Excel, Postman or equivalent and Selenium or equivalent and in SQL language for extracting data.
  • Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Git, SVN, Azure DevOPs, CircleCI, Zephir Squad, XRAY.
  • Experience in testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, back-end, and microservices.
  • Experience in validating results from mathematical, predictive and statistical algorithms.
