Job DescriptionAs a Sales and Renewals Specialist, you will be responsible for sales and business development of service contracts related to our Laboratory Equipment portfolio in the Italy and Spain region. This portfolio includes Centrifuges, Scientific Cold Storage, CO2 Incubators, Biosafety cabinets, and other products. You will primarily focus on services such as preventative maintenance, installations, and compliance services. Position requires approximately 15% travel. Must be based in Italy.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the client base and enter new markets, leveraging market insights and consumer trends.
  • Supervise business effectively to provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking. Utilize Salesforce, SAP, and other designated IT tools.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs to propose tailored service solutions and support contract renewals.
  • Lead sales negotiations with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet both company objectives and client requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Instrument Sales, Product Management, and Field Service teams to align service offerings with client expectations, delivering outstanding customer happiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contract terms, and renewal deadlines. Use CRM systems for efficient management.
  • Coordinate effectively between the remote Customer Care Team, Sales Team, and Customers.
  • Manage tenders, including crafting quotations, gaining approval, submitting, and tracking win/loss.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Life Sciences.5 years proven experience in service operations roles, including quoting, revisions, purchase order processing, and invoicing.Proven track record of successful contract management and sales achievement, with a keen focus on customer happiness.Minimum of 5 years of selling and account relationship management experience with a major company.Experience with CRM/ERP systems, with a strong preference for Salesforce.com and SAP experience.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
