Job Title: Junior Site Solar Engineer (Intern)Job Location: Rome (Italy)Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate on-site installation of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, battery storage, and associated electrical infrastructure, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Support project planning and site rollout, managing timelines and ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability in solar installations.
  • Oversee technical documentation (BOQs, project specifications), ensuring records are accurate, organized, and aligned with industry standards for renewable energy projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments, verifying structural feasibility, shading analysis, grid compliance, and other critical parameters to optimize solar system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors, tracking project progress, troubleshooting installation challenges, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and renewable energy standards.
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related technical field, graduating between January 2024 and December 2026.
  • Proficiency in structural and electrical calculations, technical documentation, and software tools like Office, AutoCAD, Revit, ProSAP, PVSyst (or similar). Knowledge of renewable energy (solar in particular) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross-project tasks and stakeholder needs. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Language Requirements: Good command of English and fluent in Italian.
