- Manage project scope, planning, costs, and timelines independently.
- Serve as the main client contact for technical discussions, requirements, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and oversee laboratory testing activities and schedules.
- Define test programs and evaluate product compliance with UL standards.
- Communicate project progress and deliver technical reports and documentation.
- Identify non-compliance issues and advise clients on corrective actions.
- Develop new test methods, equipment, and UL requirements when needed.
- Conduct or witness tests at client sites (travel may be required).
- Support and trains colleagues, junior engineers, and laboratory staff.
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices and UL's Code of Conduct.
- University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program
- At least 8 years relevant experience, to include expertise in European legislation on materials in contact with potable water including Article, Delegated Act, and Harmonized European Standard as well as Market Surveillance knowledge
- Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline.
- Working knowledge of conformity standards in use in Drinking Water European legislation (EU 2020/2184, WRAS, ACS, UBA / KTW-BWGL). .
- Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in areas of expertise, including application to complex, new, or unusual products.
- Working knowledge of industry issues, needs, and problems.
- Fluent level of English, verbal and written
