- Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on Direct Expansion cooling units for Data Center, focusing on high-performance, cost-effective design and market leading innovation.
- Design new products or re-engineer existing ones, with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal structures, pipelines), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.
- Support product production transfer from and to other locations, interface with main center of expertise, understand and manage bill of materials.
- Create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, customer's submittals).
- To meet objectives of cost, quality, environmental and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs.
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD & PLM systems, particularly PTC Creo, Solid Edge, Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Know-how of HVAC products is required.
- Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are desirable but not essential.
- English -Good level - Written and spoken.
