We're looking for a Technical Co-Founder to take full ownership over the tech vision, architecture, and execution from MVP to scale.The Role: Technical Co-Founder & CTOYou’ll work side-by-side with the Co-Founder & CEO to bring Tuttoaposto from concept to product market fit and beyond. You’ll lead the design and build of our MVP, data infrastructure, and API-first architecture, setting the foundation for how we acquire, underwrite, and serve customers in a way 10x better than legacy insurers.This is a hands-on, full-stack leadership role. You’ll need to move fast, solve hard problems, and obsess over building high-quality systems that support seamless integrations, smart underwriting, and frictionless experiences.What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and execution of Tuttoaposto’s platform from day one
- Build and launch the MVP using lean, modern technologies - low/no-code, AI-powered IDEs, external APIs, pre-built insurance tools
- Design, integrate, and manage data pipelines across property data, IoT, geospatial risk, customer behaviour, and third-party APIs
- Set up internal tools for AI-powered claims handling and CX automation
- Build Tetto’s own API layer, allowing seamless embedding into distribution partner flows
- Collaborate to the foundation of models for automated pricing and underwriting logic, integrating insurance carrier data and market benchmarks
- Hire and lead the early engineering team, shaping culture, process, and technical standards
- Work closely with product, insurance, and growth to iterate rapidly and deliver measurable customer value
- Strong experience as a tech leader in a startup or fast-scaling tech company
- Proven ability to ship MVPs fast, with a pragmatic approach to technical debt and iteration
- Deep understanding of API design and integration, including building API endpoints that can embed into third-party platforms
- Experience with data architecture and enrichment, particularly around consumer profiling, risk modelling, or real-time personalisation
- Fluent in modern full-stack development (e.g., Node.js, Python, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.)
- Experience (or curiosity) around insurance, fintech, or regulated markets
- Bonus: Experience with AI/ML applications, IoT integration, or geospatial data
- Based in Italy or willing to relocate and travel regularly to Milan
- English & Italian language skills (fluency)

- Costruirai e lancerai il primo prodotto (MVP) con strumenti moderni (AI, no-code, API ecc.)
- Progetterai la nostra architettura tech e i flussi dati per pricing, sottoscrizione e sinistri
- Lavorerai con il team insurance e prodotto per testare velocemente cosa funziona
- Imposterai il nostro layer API per integrarsi con partner come telco, utility, e-commerce
- Costruirai i primi tool interni per claims automation e gestione clienti
- In futuro, potrai guidare il team tech e definire processi e cultura ingegneristica
- Esperienza da startup o scale-up come dev lead o tech builder
- Sai lanciare MVP in fretta e sai dove essere pragmatico
- Conosci bene API, architetture moderne e lavoro full-stack (Node, Python, React ecc.)
- Ti piace lavorare con dati e costruire cose con impatto reale
- Vivi in Italia o sei disposto/a a trasferirti
