Job Title:Reliability & Maintenance EngineerSummary: Ensure the optimal management, the availability and reliability of assets. Plan preventive and predictive maintenance in a way that minimizes maintenance costs and equipment downtime to ensure that plant operations run effectively and efficiently.
The job includes measuring performance of critical assets, managing related data, implementing maintenance tasks, and identifying root causes for failures to improve reliability.Responsibilities Include:Apply methods and techniques to achieve world-class maintenance and drive the operational excellence.Propose changes to improve the reliability of machines and maintenance carried out.Develop Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new and existing assets, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.Measure performance of critical assets, identify root causes for failures, manage related data, and implement maintenance tasks to improve reliability.Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance activities developing strategies and plans of maintenance on SAP maintenance system.Using SAP system, process nonstock materials and contractor operations purchase requisitions; carry out the jobs receipt by interfacing directly with Mechanical and Electro-Instrumental Maintenance Supervisor.Develop monthly maintenance costs report by SAP maintenance system analyzing it to identify corrective actions to reduce costs.Coordinating with the direct Manager, proposing the purchase of technical maintenance materials, and taking care of the unification of mechanical and electrical spare parts.Define new spare parts codes and delete obsolete ones for the warehouse spare parts.Perform the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) weekly and provide to re-order.Provide technical support to solve mechanical and electro-instrumental issues.Provide contribution to new facilities, projects, and activities to ensure both maintainability and reliability of newly installed plus modified equipment and identify the related classification.Interact with suppliers for material out of specification for quality and quantity.In cooperation with the direct Manager, is in charge of the mechanical integrity and interface with government agencies for PED legislation requirements.Act as Mechanical Supervisor back-up and is in charge of security according to the definition of art. 2 comma e) od D. Lgs.81/2008 e s.m.i., so that must fulfill related obligations under art.19 del D. Lgs.81/2008 e s.m.iQualifications:The following are required for the roleMaster Degree Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance tasks;Demonstrated knowledge of statistical tools and engineering concepts;Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).The following are preferred for this roleExperience using statistical and probability methods and tools;Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;Good communication skills;SAP experience;3 years of previous experience in a Reliability Engineer role.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.**Please apply in English with resume**#LI-NG1What We Offer:At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
