- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Italian payments and fintech landscape.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, legal, etc.) to deliver customized solutions for clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
- Represent Nuvei at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- From 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the payments or fintech industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of the Italian payments and fintech market.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Willingness to travel as required within Italy and internationally.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications.
- Existing network of contacts within the Italian payments or fintech ecosystem.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with digital payment solutions, e-commerce, and emerging financial technologies.
