Job overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across various cyber security domains, with a strong focus on Microsoft Defender ecosystems and data protection solutions such as Microsoft Purview. You will play a pivotal role in designing robust security solutions for businesses and enterprises, while also managing threats and vulnerabilities.   • Security Solution Design: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies tailored to the unique needs of businesses and enterprise environments.
  • Microsoft Defender Expertise: Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Defender ecosystems to enhance security posture and ensure optimal protection against cyber threats.
  • Data Protection Solutions: Utilise Microsoft Purview and other data protection tools to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Threat and Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities within the organisation’s infrastructure, ensuring proactive measures are in place.
  • Cross-Domain Cyber Security: Provide insights and solutions across various cyber security domains, going beyond product specialisation to address broader security challenges.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams and executive leadership, to communicate security strategies and align them with business objectives.
  • Business Problem Understanding: Analyse business challenges and articulate how cyber security initiatives can support organisational growth and resilience.
  • Technical support to the Solutions team in the pre-sales process
To be a successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience in cyber security consulting, with a focus on Microsoft Defender ecosystems and data protection solutions.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing security solutions for businesses and enterprise environments.
  • A solid understanding of security concepts, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • A strong knowledge of security technologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise in threat and vulnerability management practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various cyber security domains, with the ability to think beyond product-specific solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of business processes and the role of cyber security in enabling organisational success.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.) are a plus.
