Job DescriptionThis is a key role in providing field or workshop services to our customers, including preventive maintenance, breakdown calls, quality related issues and product recalls. Install, service, repair and commission actuators and associated equipment at Rotork customer sites or at Rotork facility.Reporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service Engineers providing a prompt and effective service to resolve customer issues as they arise. Representing Rotork with the customer, thus always acting professionally and strictly adhering to all rules and regulations.In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associate retrofit adaptation of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job. Produce good quality site visit reports for each job in a timely manner. Complete and submit all expenses / paperwork in a timely manner. Complete all health and safety training and documentation requirements as required. Deliver work while complying with Rotork H&S requirements.This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays included.QualificationsExperience Requirements:
  • Proven experience with site work, both with mechanical and electrical works
  • Strong technical understanding of all Rotork products is preferable
  • Technical background, engineering degree or similar
  • Experience in industrial valve actuation is preferable
  • Proficient in using MS office - including outlook, word, excel
  • Fluent English
The Successful Candidate:
  • Able to attend training courses to attain: PES (electrical qualification), confined space, firefighting and first aid qualifications
  • Able to attend BOSIET/OPITO offshore training course
  • Able and willing to meet an extensive travel commitment often at short notice
  • Able to manage your own workload and organize travel arrangements as needed
  • Must be physically fit to work with:
  • Weight up to 25Kg, heights up to 25m
  • Confine space,
  • Long periods of standing with repeated bending, crouching, and twisting
