- Take care of the mechanical design of chillers and heat pumps using 2D / 3D CAD software
- Coordinate with the design team to identify the best solutions to ensure product performance and reliability, as well as accessibility for maintenance and repair activities
- Cooperate in the supervision of production activities, especially in the prototyping phase, and carry out their activities as integrated with all other design inputs, within a project team (mechanical, electrical and software, thermodynamics)
- Interfacing with suppliers both in the design phase and in the construction phase of mechanical parts, with the aim of finding the cost-effective solution according to company quality standards
- Creation of bills of materials for the mechanical structure of the units designed, interfacing with the supply chain for the management of coding and maintenance of revisions
- Drafting and drafting of the documentation necessary to ensure that the product assembly operations are performed in the best possible way ensuring a high level of efficiency and quality, also according to the principles of Lean Manufacturing
- Report in a structured way the activities of its competence, planning the workload and deadlines under the supervision of the R&D team leader
- Participate in the analysis of non-conformities by giving willingness to evaluate and propose all resolving interventions for all company functions that are influenced by its design
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Having already gained experience in Technical Offices in companies in the HVAC sector is an element to be preferred
- Technical knowledge of design with regard to the construction of bent sheet metal structures and piping of even complex refrigeration circuits
- Being advanced user with SolidWorks and/or other 3D modelling software
- English upper basic level
- Ability to adapt, flexibility, desire to learn and accept challenges, to take responsibility for one's role
- Understanding impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function
