- preparation of specifications , design description and justification relative to DC and RF harness and miscellanea and flexible circuits / harnesses
- performing of the voltage drop analysis to check requirements compliance;
- to perform the design for rigid and flexible circuits for non-conventional harnesses with practical expertise in schematic design and rigid-flex PCB routing using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
- good known on IPC class 3 and 3S requirements and roles for the design of PCB and Flexible circuits
- good known about testing requirements IST and Group 6 for validate the results about them
- performing the emission of documents relative to rigid and flex schematics and layouts
- to analyse and synthetize the input by electrical side and by mechanical and integration constraint
- to support the mechanical system level activities through also the review/comments of the equipment/sub-systems Data Package coming from their design or test phase;
- moreover and when necessary, starting from Project(s) technical/functional requirements, perform or collaborate to the process of designing of spacecraft harness parts/sub-assemblies or whole assembly, oriented to design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing criteria;
- to the above scope, to define a conceptual design of the part/sub-assy/Assy using Siemens CHS SW (VPM or local system file);
- Electronics Hardware Design Engineer working in the aerospace sector, with hands-on experience in designing digital boards and test equipment for critical applications. Involved in projects from initial requirements to final validation.
- Master Degree in Electronic or Computer and Information Discipline
- Previous work experience in PCB and Flex design and electronic applications.
- Design and development of digital electronic boards for military and aerospace applications, covering the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to final product.
- Responsible for complete hardware design, including schematic design, component selection and PCB layout.
- Proven experience in flex and rigid-flex circuit routing for critical and high-reliability applications.
- Design and development of test tools and EGSE for space programmessupporting hardware verification, validation and production testing.
- Definition and execution of hardware verification and validation activities.
- Close collaboration with firmware, mechanical and quality teams to ensure system integration and compliance with technical requirements.
- experienced (good) knowledge of pre\post-processing and solvers softwares, in particular:
- CHS (recommended);
- Catia Composer (recommended);
- Altium Designer (recommended)
- Solidworks
- Experienced (good) knowledge of Microsoft Office.
