- Assist in the installation, configuration, and validation of automated diagnostic systems.
- Ensure that automation solutions are integrated seamlessly with existing laboratory workflows.
- Provide on-site and remote support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff and customers on the use and maintenance of automation systems.
- Develop training materials and documentation to support users.
- Ensure users are proficient in operating and troubleshooting automation equipment.
- Analyze laboratory workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements through automation.
- Work with customers to optimize the performance of automated systems.
- Implement changes and enhancements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on automation technologies and applications in diagnostics.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation and diagnostic technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers.
- Ensure that all automation solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
- Implement and uphold rigorous quality control processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, and customer support, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of installation, configuration, and support activities.
- Provide regular reports on project progress, system performance, and customer feedback.
- Document best practices and lessons learned for future reference.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation systems, with a focus on diagnostics or laboratory environments.
- Strong technical skills and experience with automated diagnostic systems and laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in automation and diagnostics.
- Fluency in English, Italian and a 2nd EU language (Spanish, German or French)
- This position is Remote based and will require frequent travel to other company locations or to meet with clients and vendors.
