- Business & Strategic Planning - work alongside C-level executives to quickly assess business performance and define/quantify improvement initiatives to present to investors and stakeholders.
- Financial performance monitoring & improvement - support clients' CFOs and Strategy teams in tracking financial performance, monitoring target achievement and identifying corrective actions.
- Business & Commercial Due Diligence - analyse business dynamics, markets and competition for potential targets, working with private equity funds and corporate buyers.
- Synergy assessment & tracking - identify and review synergies in both pre- and post-deal phases, and support the design and implementation of synergy tracking models in the execution phase.
- Integration & Separation Management Office - contribute to Day-1 readiness plans, D+100 integration plans, Target Operating Model definition and related workstreams.
- Value creation - across all these activities, you will support clients from assessment through to implementation and monitoring of VC initiatives, in both pre- and post-deal phases.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a strategy consulting firm or in the strategy/business development function of an industrial, consumer or retail company, with a focus on defining and managing revenue-growth initiatives.
- A Master's degree in business-related subjects and, preferably, postgraduate studies in data science, business analytics or digital innovation.
- A strong interest in M&A activities.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to interpret financial and operational data and KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
- Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data & analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
