Hear directly from our teammates at AIT Worldwide Logistics and make us the next stop on your career journey.OverviewAre you looking to start your career in logistics or international transport?AIT Worldwide Logistics is offering an internship/apprendistato for motivated students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in Ocean Freight Operations within a global logistics company.This position is ideal for students in relevant study programs or young talents interested in entering the freight forwarding sector.ResponsibilitiesAs an Ocean Freight Intern, you will be introduced to the full operational cycle of international transport. You will learn how global shipments are managed from origin to destination and gain practical experience in:
  • Managing introductory tasks within import (and some export) shipments
  • Preparing and verifying transportation documents
  • Communicating with customers, carriers, and agents
  • Understanding customs processes and required documentation
  • Monitoring shipment milestones and deadlines
  • Participating in quotation preparation
  • Working with operational data and invoicing elements
  • Handling key documents such as Bills of Lading, delivery notes, and customs forms
  • Collaborating with our experienced forwarding team in daily operations
This internship provides a real opportunity to develop a long-term career in freight forwarding.Qualifications
  • Students or recent graduates in freight forwarding, logistics, transport, economics, or related fields
(OR candidates with basic experience in logistics/customer service if studies are unrelated) * Fluent in Italian and English
  • Curious, motivated, and eager to learn
  • Good organizational and communication abilities
  • Comfortable working with MS Office
  • Interested in growing professionally within an international logistics environment
